Wood Chop Shop WI 21 (18 & Up)

The Wood Chop Shop is back as a feature of the winter Jeffrey Woods Festival! Join Mayor Kessler and City of Bexley/Recreation & Parks Staff at the Bexley Pool parking lot to process downed city trees into firewood. Participants will be able to take home as much firewood as they can help process during their one hour program. Remember to dress appropriate for the weather and the type of work. Spots will be limited due to COVID-19 and safety policies will be in place. Registered participants will be emailed prior to the activity with COVID-19 information.  

Children ages 16 and up can attend with their parents, but must be supervised at all times. You are allowed to bring up to three (3) people within your family/bubble to help cut wood. 

Please note the trees being cut up were removed by city arborists for reasons other than to be turned into firewood.
