Kidz Home Alone (8 - 11 Years Old)

Are you ready to educate your child about the responsibilities of being home alone? Our goal is to assist every student to feel more comfortable while home alone. This interactive course teaches topics such as First Aid, Self Heimlich maneuver, reasons to call 911, fire escape plans, microwave safety and how to problem solve out of the ordinary situations. A parent guide is included in the student manual which provides helpful discussion points between parent and child. You will receive a first aid kit, practice diaper and program certificate. Also, parents, you will be emailed a workbook.
Better Babysitters (10 - 14 Years Old)
Registration Deadline: Sept. 16
Would your child know what to do if the child they were babysitting were choking? Does your child baby sit their younger siblings? Your child will learn the skills needed to be a Better Babysitter! This class includes guest speakers from the local Police and Fire Departments. All students will receive their own first aid kit to take home. This class is appropriate for boys and girls ages 10-14, and is interactive and fun with role play and hands on instruction.
