Autumn and Winter bring some very big changes throughout the natural world including at Jeffrey Woods. Please safely enjoy some of those woodland changes on your schedule with our very popular Jeffrey Woods Interpretive Signs placed along the trails. Learn what to look for in a fall and winter woods and why these seasonal changes occur. Discover why evergreens don’t lose their needles, where the bumblebees go and what happens to some of our forest critters in the cold seasons.

From Sep. 24, 2021 through Dec. 2021, informative trail signs will be displayed along the paths highlighting the different features of a autumn and winter woodland.
