Have you ever wanted to do Yoga, but didn’t think you could get up and down on a mat? Or, have you done Yoga, and now have wrist or knee problems that prevent mat practice? Or do you just want to practice a gentle form of Yoga in which you will sit on or stand behind a chair? If you answer “Yes” to any of these questions, then Chair Yoga is for you!
 
It is real Yoga modified to be accessible to all. Science is showing that Yoga is beneficial for everyone, that it is never too late to benefit from exercising, and that even a little exercise goes a long way to being healthier and feeling better. Chair Yoga is more than a little exercise, but the person doing the practice is totally in charge of how much or how little is done. Join us, and see what it can do for you.

She has been teaching yoga for two and a half years including Chair Yoga at Grant Fitness and the Introductory Hatha Yoga class at Bexley Recreation. She retired from teaching Music at Cassingham Elementary in Bexley in 2013.
