Fall Bird/Warbler Walk (Sep. 17)
This is individual registration for ages 16+

Join birding expert James Muller for a fun and educational bird walk through Jeffrey Woods. You will be looking for and meeting winged woodland residents, migratory birds and those tiny and colorful warblers as they flit through our woods on their way to warmer climates.

Instructor: James Muller
Longtime birder - James started serious birding at 12 years old. He has seen more than 630 species across the United States, and has led numerous tours for the Black Swamp Bird Observatory and for Columbus Audubon. He is also an eBird reviewer, the creator of the Birding Central Ohio Facebook group (2300 members), and an advisor for the Ohio Young Birders Club.

Fall Hike & Creepy Crawly Walk (Oct. 15)
For all ages, but please register as an individual adult and you will be asked how many family members will be attending with you.
In celebration of fall and Bexley Recreation’s Annual Harvest Fest, join Outdoor Educator Tom Kirker as he explores the seasonal changes in our fall woods. After a summer bounty of good food and weather - how do animals and plants prepare for winter? What changes take place? Why do leaves change colors? What do birds, bumble bees and other woodland critters do to survive? Tom will also visit the new Creepy Crawly Children’s Walk where you’ll discover what long-legged beasties and things that go bump in the night do to survive winter.
