Would you like to learn a technique to calm the nervous system so that the body can do what it needs to do? Consider becoming a Reiki practitioner. Reiki (pronounced Ray-kee) is a Japanese energy practice. “Reiki” means Universal Life Force Energy. Practitioners use their hands to channel this energy which is all around us all the time. The hands can be placed on the body or can hover over the body.

In this class, you will be attuned to the energy and will learn how to use your hands to help yourself and others. In the beginning level, we learn to give Reiki to ourselves and to those close to us. You also will learn about the history of Reiki and the different ways of practicing it. No one knows how or why Reiki works. Those who give and receive it just know that it does.
