Pilates lengthens and strengthens the muscles as well as uses core strength for every exercise. Although pilates is non-aerobic, it is an extremely effective way to strengthen and condition the muscles of the abdomen and back, thus helping to build a “girdle of strength” around the spine. This class is designed to introduce you to mat pilates and is also for those with some experience.
Instructor: Mindy Sybert
Mindy is certified in Mat Pilates, Reformer, Tower, Chair, Cadillac and Barrel and has been with the Pilates Studio of Bexley since 2013. Her education is through STOTT and Balanced Body. Mindy has worked with all ages and ranges of clients and athletes including Cirque du Soleil, the Ohio State University football team and Columbus Dance Theatre.
