COSI Science Festival SU 24 (All Ages) • Register • View Cart •

The COSI Science Festival offers 75+ area community events happening May 1 - 3 and with the Big Science Celebration on May 4 at COSI! This event will showcase accessible, hands-on science activities that encourage an interest in science, sparks curiosity, and creates lasting memories.

With the support of our COSI Science Festival Committee (including Bexley City Schools, CSG, Capital, St. Charles, and the Bexley Public Library) we are proud to be a part of the community events during the COSI Science Festival! Registration opens April 15 @ 12:00pm for Bexley residents (April 17 @ 12:00pm for non-residents)

Super Science Block Party & Main Event Movie Night (Friday, May 3; 600-1000p)
Join us for a science block party fun filled evening of research projects, hands-on science activities, robotics, inflatables, music and food trucks from 6:00-8:30pm. Following the activities we will host a movie (Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!) as a part of Bexley's Main Event Series! This event will take place on Capital University's front lawn along E. Main St. between College Ave. and Drexel Ave. Parking will be available on side streets and any Capital parking lots that are not permit only. This event does not require registration and is open to all ages.

Jeffrey Woods Bingo Scavenger Hunt SU 24

  • *This is a family event - please register as the adult for your family and you will be asked how many people will be attending with you*
  • Kids and families will discover and enjoy all the wonders of spring at Bexley’s 20-acre, Jeffrey Woods with a Bingo Nature Scavenger Hunt. Children will explore, find and mark off their bingo card several ecosystems and the critters, plants and trees that live there. BINGO!

How to Make a Bagel SU 24
  • This activity registers by each individual. Max 40 spots!
  • Join us at Fox's Bagels for a bagel-filled family evening involving a facility tour on the process that goes into making a bagel! Pick out a bagel to boil and bake and while you wait color some bagel art and enjoy a bagel stick appetizer and pickle! Families will then work together to make your own pizza bagels for dinner! Great for all ages.

Science Sampler SU 24
  • Instructor: Bexley Library Staff
  • Little scientists will have the opportunity to build, play, and learn with some high-thought, high-fun materials. Participants can learn about the wonders of the world around them through hands-on science experiments!
  • This program will take place in the Auditorium at the Bexley Public Library (2411 E. Main St.). Limited parking will be available in the library lot, with additional spaces available on the streets surrounding the library. Please note that the city tows street parked cars after 4pm on Main St.
