Nexplore FA 25: Monday Programs (6 - 9 Years Old)
- Strawbees: Combine creativity and engineering with Strawbees! Nexplore Strawbees combines hands-on exploration and play with versatile straw pieces to make building and creation fun and accessible for all ages and learning needs. Strawbees are an award-winning building set made of plastic, paper, and other polymers. This course’s interactive lessons use Strawbees to guide students through important STEAM concepts, making them fun and engaging. Strawbees offers groundbreaking materials for students to express, test, and share their ideas, giving them a sense of pride in what they’ve made.
- Science of Superpowers: See just what it takes to be super! The world of comic books is full of heroes, villains, challenges, and triumphs – and the heroes need help! In this educational favorite, students answer the call for aid by dissecting superhero abilities to uncover the science behind superpowers. While completing lessons in science and technology, students fly alongside Superman, sling webs with Spiderman, and recognize the real-life heroes in their own lives. Dive headfirst into the comic universe where character development, creative thinking, and community awareness reign supreme.
- Robotics with Edison: Coding meets bricks in this interactive robotics adventure! Robotics with Edison combines computational thinking, computer programming, and 21st-century education in an engaging way. Edison is a safe programmable robot and interactive STEM teaching resource for coding and robotics. In Nexplore Robotics, students advance through various programming languages as their skills develop. Students build both this important 21st century skill and their confidence through exploration, iteration, and collaboration.
- 3D Printing: Using 3Doodler’s 3D printing pens, students break down complex topics into hands-on, approachable concepts, bringing science, technology, engineering, math, and design concepts to life. 3Doodler bridges differences in learning styles and engages students in a way that promotes teamwork, creative thinking, self-expression, and focus. After only using 3Doodler’s 3D printing pens for a short time, students will become engineers, designers, and scientists in their own classrooms or learning groups.
