Ready to start sewing? Learn the essentials of machine sewing in this six-week hands-on class designed for complete beginners. You’ll get comfortable using a sewing machine, learn how to read simple patterns, and build confidence through fun, practical projects. Please bring your own sewing machine.
Instructor: Kelleyanne Pearman
Kelleyanne Pearman-Leasure is a lifelong seamstress and experienced instructor with over 50 years of sewing experience and 20 years of teaching. She’s taught through local recreation programs and CCAD’s Summer Youth Program, helping students of all ages learn to sew with confidence and creativity.
