Adult Jump Rope Exercise Program WI/SP 26 (18+) Register View Cart

A fun and effective weekly 40 minute workout session to get cardio for people with busy schedules. This 5 week class will teach the correct techniques and basic jumps to introduce participants to this whole body exercise experience. Participants will learn basic & intermediate jump rope moves and correct fundamentals for the first 10 minutes of each session. The group will then go through an effective 30 minute workout program focusing on simple skip variations to building up conditioning and stamina. Each participant will jump at their own pace & skill-level, and can take what they learn in class to make this simple and fun exercise a habit and a foundation for a happy and healthy lifestyle.

Instructor: Sam Ciminero
Sam Ciminero is a Bexley resident who has a lot of passion about jump rope and it's rewarding health benefits.  Sam also has passion to teach & share with others how fun and effective this exercise can be (it's just not for kids anymore). He has been an avid jump rope enthusiast for over 10 years, only starting it because other exercise routines were boring to him.  He discovered that jump rope was easier on his joints than jogging & enjoyed the challenge of using heavy ropes to set goals, relieve stress, & have fun. He also liked that jump rope needed little space & equipment to do it, without having to leave the house.  It's a win-win!
