STEAM Program
Does your child wonder what makes a rainbow or how we hear sounds? Then join us for STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics - to help foster educational wonderment for children at all ages. Through these classes, children will explore various topics through hands-on experimentation, crafts, books, and discussion. STEAM has been shown to help children think more critically, develop problem solving skills, and foster creativity. Give your learner a leg up through these fun and exploratory classes.
It's a Small World Program
Let’s “travel” by learning about cultures all over the world. .Preschoolers will explore the richness of other cultures around the world through books, crafts, and even language exploration. Research suggests that learning about other cultures increases empathy and compassion as well as positively impact executive functioning by engaging cognitive processes like flexible thinking and perspective taking. Join us for this fun and informational class!
Instructor: Betsy Zacks
Betsy has a Masters in Education from Northwestern University and has been a teacher, interventionist, and academic coach. She has a passion for math and science and loves to implement inquiry based instruction. She currently resides in Bexley with her husband and three children.
