At least once per month, senior center members take various day trips in Central Ohio and throughout the state. Below are the first quarter trips for 2026. Transportation is provided by the Bexley BEAT.
May Day Trip SU 26
Spend the day in Medina’s historic Public Square, where preserved 19th-century architecture surrounds unique boutiques, cozy cafés, and locally owned shops. There will be time to explore on your own before and after lunch as a group.

June Day Trip SU 26
Enjoy an exciting night of baseball with the Columbus Clippers from the comfort of two adjoining private suites, with 21 outdoor seats, 6 rail seats, and standing room inside. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included.

July Day Trip SU 26
All aboard the Portage Princess! Join us for a private cruise at Portage Lakes State Park in Akron. We’ll have lunch at a lakeside restaurant before our 2-hour cruise.

August Day Trip SU 26
Head to Bucyrus, the "Bratwurst Capital of America," for the annual Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival, first held in 1968. Over 100,000 visitors attend, enjoying tons of fire-roasted bratwurst. Festivities include crowning Bratwurst Royalty, daily parades, eating contests, a stein auction, continuous free entertainment, a craft and art show, rides, games, and beer gardens.
