Nexplore FA 26: Monday Programs (6 - 9 Years Old)
- Build-a-Bot: This is a fun inquiry-based hands-on STEAM experience that engages students in design and robotics. In this program, students practice their engineering skills to create a series of robot models, each operating with a different mechanism and fulfilling a unique purpose. Students challenge their hands and minds to build fascinating bots, like the Fiber Optic Lamp, Powered Boat, Bubble Blower, and more! This program is fully aligned with NGSS standards and students even get to keep their creations.
- Flight & Aerodynamics: Young pilots go on an exciting journey through science and discover the thrill of flight. Through hands-on experiments, creative design challenges, and teamwork-based games, students explore aviation while building problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. They explore the science and physics behind flight in a program that makes STEAM learning high-flying and unforgettable.
- Wacky Science: This program ignites curiosity through hands-on fun and interactive discovery! Students develop critical thinking skills and scientific literacy while experimenting with fascinating projects like Hovercrafts and Lava Lamps. This interactive course transforms abstract physics and chemistry concepts into tangible discoveries, boosting confidence as little scientists observe, question, and problem-solve. Watch their eyes light up with each “wow” moment as they learn that science isn’t just educational—it’s explosively entertaining!
- Makers Club: This exciting engineering program inspires students to pursue futures in science and technology. While working with Maker Kits, students build mechanical, artistic, and engineering skills and learn to act as inventors in their own right. They design remote-controlled hydraulic arms, learn to harness energy to power race cars, and experiment with structural design. Students keep their inventions and proudly share their projects with family and friends.

Nexplore FA 26: Thursday Programs (8 - 11 Years Old)
- Bridges & Skyscrapers: A hands-on STEM program for grades 3-8 where students explore the science behind structural engineering by actually building and testing their own designs. They dig into concepts like forces, stability, and load-bearing to see why some buildings stand tall while others collapse, how trusses carry heavy loads, and how engineers design for things like earthquakes. Each session has students thinking like real engineers as they compete to build the tallest skyscraper or the strongest bridge. It's a great mix of creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving that kids really get into!
- Survival Science: As survivalists, students learn exactly what to do in an emergency through the team-based study of real-world survival skills. From investigating the utility of tools to working through challenging situations, students use ingenuity to gain crucial skills such as knot tying, water purification, and compass navigation. With each unique activity, students gather their senses, put their new skills to the test, and conquer every challenge Mother Nature throws their way!
- Esports: Students explore the world of esports through structured gameplay, guided discussion, and skill-building activities designed to develop digital tech skills. Using popular games like Rocket League Sideswipe, students develop collaboration, time management, and resilience. Lessons emphasize digital citizenship, online safety, and healthy competition while breaking down how games work and inspiring future pathways in technology.
- Oceanic Exploration: In this adventure-based program, students journey from the tropics to the poles and discover the wonders of the sea. Explorers trace arctic food webs, simulate coral reef adaptations, and survey everything from the great river deltas to the Mariana Trench. Through engineering design activities, students collaborate on sustainability projects like tracking great white sharks and pondering questions about ecosystems and how to protect the oceans. Science becomes an adventure as students experience the thrill of exploring unknown worlds.
