Mindy has been with the Pilates Studio of Bexley since 2013 until present. She is certified in Mat Pilates, Reformer, Tower, Chair, Cadillac and Barrel. Candidate Master coach Kyle Jones welcomes students of all ages and levels to come learn the storied game of chess. Whether you are just learning the game or an experienced veteran, coach Jones makes sure to integrate all levels into his lesson planning to ensure everyone is able to learn. In addition to the comprehensive lessons, Mr. Jones utilizes a chess playing interface (lichess.org) to provide the students with an opportunity to practice their techniques. The second half of the class is featured on lichess.org. Once enrolled, students are given access to our private club room to participate in weekly tournament games. The tournament is an arena format that allows students to play as many games as possible within the assigned time limit. In real life tournaments, children must wait until everyone has finished their games and are only given a set number of games to play. This opportunity provides students with the means to play as soon as a new match is made available. Less waiting and more playing! Additionally, games are recorded by the computer allowing students to review moves and tactics afterward. Instructor: Kyle Jones has coached more than 20 schools over the past 20 years. Kyle graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's in Science in Psychology, is completing his Master’s in Early Childhood Education, earned his Protecting God’s Children certification, and has achieved the titles of Candidate Master (classical) and National Master (blitz) from the United States Chess Federation. From player to coach, Kyle has been a part of more than 40 state championship titles and 15 national titles. He was crowned the 2015-16 State of Ohio Speed Chess Champion (3rd title overall). Additionally, he was honored by Fox Sports Ohio, the Dispatch, 10tv, the Governor, the Mayor, the Board of Education, the Senate and the House of Representatives for his chess achievements.

The most common question is “How is Pilates different from Yoga." Pilates lengthens and strengthens the muscles as well as uses core strength for every exercise. Although Pilates is non-aerobic, it is an extremely effective way to strengthen and condition the muscles of the abdomen and back, thus helping to build a “girdle of strength” around the spine. This class is designed to introduce you to Mat Pilates and is also for those with some experience.Instructor: Mindy Sybert has taught Pilates for the past 18 years. Mindy has been with the Pilates Studio of Bexley since 2013 until present. She is certified in Mat Pilates, Reformer, Tower, Chair, Cadillac and Barrel. Her education is through STOTT and Balanced Body.  Mindy has  worked with all ages and ranges of clients and athletes including Cirque du Soleil, the Ohio State University football team and Columbus Dance  Theatre.
