Youth Basketball Program FA 23 (K - 8th Grade) - Youth Basketball FA 23 (Pro Girls 5th/6th): New York Liberty (Kinyon) @ Indiana Fever (Jackson) Youth Basketball Program 2023 - 24 SeasonThe Bexley Recreation & Parks Department is proud to continue to offer youth basketball leagues for the 2023-24 season! Programs are offered for boys and girls ages 5 - 14. Volunteer coaches are needed for all age groups! Youth Basketball Program FA 23 (K - 8th Grade) - Youth Basketball FA 23 (Semi-Pro Boys 3rd/4th): Arizona Wildcats (Heggestad) @ Oregon Ducks (Armstrong/Weiker) Youth Basketball Program 2023 - 24 SeasonThe Bexley Recreation & Parks Department is proud to continue to offer youth basketball leagues for the 2023-24 season! Programs are offered for boys and girls ages 5 - 14. Volunteer coaches are needed for all age groups! The hoops will be lowered to an appropriate height for all ages. Players will attend evaluations and be placed onto a team.Semi-Pro + Pro Leagues (Boys/Girls)These leagues will learn fundamentals, basic team plays and concepts all while enjoying the sport! Practices will be twice/week (one weekday and Sundays) before games begin in December and then will drop to one practice/week during the week once games begin.Tim Stowe League (Boys 7th-8th)This league is for players living in Bexley or surrounding areas, who are not members of a school team. The focus will be on improving the player’s skills that are needed at the Middle School level. Teams will have set practice times and play seven regular season games and end with a single elimination tournament.Registration DeadlinesPlease note that even though there is a registration deadline, leagues may reach the max number of participants BEFORE the deadline, which may cause your child to be wait listed. To avoid this, be sure to register early! *Late registrations may be subject to league availability and a $10 late fee.KMadness/Rookies/Semi-Pro + Pro: Friday, Sep. 29Tim Stowe (B7-8): November 27League Evaluations Location: TBASat., Oct. 14: 9:00am - 5:00pm Sun., Oct. 15: 12:30 - 7:45pmEvaluations will be 40 minute time slots. After registration, you will be emailed an evaluation registration link a few weeks prior to the first day to select a specific day and time for your league.Practices & Game DaysPractice days and times for 3rd-8th grade are based on the coaches’ schedules.
