Fun Town has also become a place for nannies and their nanny kids to come and play in their kid safe, clean and fun space. When she first got the Fun Town location it was just a very cold open room with nothing and with the help of her wonderful partner Dean, we mostly build everything in this place themselves. So much love and hard work was put into it and she could not be any prouder of how far she has come with her business. It has been absolutely rewarding. Meeting families, nannies and grandparents watching all the kids grow and learn has been the most amazing part of her journey. She wants to continue to provide the best educational Spanish program in Columbus, offer a great safe indoor play area and keep Fun Town open in the Dublin community! In February 2023, they opened Spanish for Ninos in Bexley at 524 N.Cassady Ave offering the same programs as Dublin. Specifically designed for older adults, Beginner Yoga for Seniors, will teach you breathing techniques to calm the mind and/or energize the body. 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM    Senior Yoga WI/SP 24 (55+) - Senior Yoga SP 24 (S2)
Studies have shown the positive benefits of yoga for all ages. Yoga involves linking the mind, body, and breath. You do not have to be flexible or fit to start practicing yoga. Specifically designed for older adults, Beginner Yoga for Seniors, will teach you breathing techniques to calm the mind and/or energize the body. You will learn various poses to stretch and strengthen your muscles. The number one rule is that you do not do anything that hurts. This is not a gym workout. It is a body/mind work in. By paying attention to your body, you will learn to be more present and mindful. This is a mat yoga class. You need to be able to get down to the floor and back up again. If that is a problem, consider Chair Yoga. It has the same benefits.Instructor: Deborah Forsblom, RYT 500, Certified Chair Yoga, Certified Trauma Sensitive Yogaforsblombd@gmail.com; (614) 253-2292Deborah has been teaching yoga for more than eight years. Every child who is registered in one of their classes gets to also play in our indoor play area! She also wanted to continue to be part of the amazing nanny community in Columbus. They can’t wait to meet all the families in Bexley who want their children to learn Spanish as a second language.
